Articoli Liberi è un’associazione culturale senza scopo di lucro con sede ad Annecy, Francia, nata per diffondere libri in varie lingue tra bambini e ragazzi che vivono realtà difficili o in povertà. Siamo convinti che i giovani, in qualsiasi Paese, debbano avere un accesso gratuito a Cultura e Istruzione.
La nostra missione è raggiungere quanti più bambini possibile. Donare libri è probabilmente la maniera più visionaria di cambiare il mondo, ma è anche molto facile da mettere in pratica. Leggere letteratura può renderci tutti persone migliori. Più piccole. Di nuovo bambini, ecco.

Articoli Liberi is a nonprofit organization based in the south of France, born to create and distribute free books to children in poor areas. In fact, we think that young people, in any Country, should have free access to Education and Culture.
Our mission is to distribute books to schools and young people all over the world. Our purpose is to join as many children as we can and pass down the importance of reading to the new generation. Donating books is probably the most visionary but also the most approachable way to change the world. By reading literature, we all can be better people. Smaller. Let’s say, children again!

“Tutto il mio mondo ruota intorno ai libri. Ho la fortuna di essere circondata da bambini ogni giorno. Sono privilegiati, perché hanno un’enorme biblioteca tutta per loro. Ma non tutti i bambini sono così fortunati. Per questo abbiamo il dovere di regalare libri ai giovani”.

Félicia is the co-founder of AL. She is a professional translator and writer, and she works at Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill.
“My whole world revolves around books. I am blessed to be able to be surrounded by children every day. They are lucky enough to have a huge library for themselves. But not every child is as lucky as them. And that is our duty to bring books to the young”.

Franco Malanima, scrittore italiano, vive tra Francia e Stati Uniti da circa vent’anni, insegna italiano come seconda lingua. Ha fondato AL andando in giro con un furgone pieno di copie di un pamphlet rivoluzionario.

Franco is an Italian writer based in the South of France, who also teaches Italian as a second language. He founded AL by going around French high schools with his trunk full of copies of a revolutionary pamphlet.

Odette è la nostra gattina, il logo disegnato per noi da Fernando Cobelo. Ci aiuta a impaginare, a scegliere i testi e le illustrazioni. Ci fidiamo ciecamente del suo fiuto e non pubblicheremmo nulla senza il suo prezioso parere.

Odette is our black cat. She was created by Fernando Cobelo. She lends a hand with the editing process and pagination. We trust her nose and we would never publish anything without her precious advice.
